The New stunning Airbus A350-1000!

Updated: Jul 6, 2018

Planes definately make people claustrophobic. Perhaps that’s because the walls curve in on you. This new Airbus is designed with “vertical side walls” to allow more space to all passengers. It may only be inches, but these days they certainly count!

74 metres from nose-to-tail, the A350-1000 is the longest-fuselage version of Airbus’ all-new family of twin-aisle, wide body jetliners featuring the company’s 18-inch-wide economy class seats for modern comfort, the A350-1000 seats a total of 366 passengers – who can expect a spacious and quiet cabin, wider seats and elegant ambient lighting that contributes to a beautiful interior while also minimizing the effects of jet lag. The aircraft entered into service in February 2018.

Airbus has claimed that this magnificent new plane is the quietest of them all.

53% Composite, 14% Titanium…

Old planes were primarily made with aluminum, which as you may know – is not the most reliable. But new generation planes such as the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the Airbus A350 are made from stronger composite materials, and in this case of this A350-1000 lots of titanium.

Qatar Airlines is the biggest customer of the A350-1000 and currently has an order of 37 aircraft placed with Airbus.

Powering the A350-1000 are Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines that allow the largest member of the A350 XWB Family to attain high levels of efficiency.

Each engine provides 97,000 lbs. of thrust on takeoff – the most powerful engine ever developed for an Airbus aircraft – providing additional payload capability and range. With these specially-tailored Trent XWB power-plants, the A350-1000 is capable of long-haul routes

Airbus has claimed that this magnificent new plane is the quietest of them all. Airbus A350 has gone through more than 1600 hours of flight testing on this version alone. The previous A350-900 was tested for more than 2500 hours before a single passenger set foot on it. 1600 hours is 66 entire 24 hour days of flying.
